Many A-listers from across the globe gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for fashion's biggest night on May 4. From India, Karan Johar, Isha Ambani, and Manish Malhotra brought their signature style, while international icons like Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, and Heidi Klum added to the global glamour. Making a comeback after a decade at the Met Gala, Beyonce stole the spotlight this year, quite literally bringing the skeleton out.

The singer made a commanding return to the red carpet in a gem-encrusted ensemble that you just can't miss.

Accompanied by her daughter Blue Ivy Carter and husband Jay-Z, the pop superstar, who is also a co-chair of this year's gala, delivered a look that was equal parts theatrical and high fashion. She wore a diamond-encrusted dress designed to resemble a skeleton, complete with a matching headpiece.

The ensemble was created by Olivier Rousteing, the former creative head of Balmain, known for his bold, statement-making designs.

Adding to the opulence, Beyonce layered the look with an over-the-top faux fur coat, while a dazzling diamond necklace and matching earrings completed the look.

This year's dress code, "Fashion Is Art," has pushed celebrities to fully embrace experimental, statement-making looks. Think sculpted hand motifs, metallic masks and armour-like breastplates, naked dresses, and bold, surreal silhouettes that blur the line between runway and installation art.

Meanwhile, Beyonce's last appearance at the iconic event dates back to 2016, when she wore Givenchy Haute Couture for the "Manus x Machina" theme.
