Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 breaks Baahubali 2 records, becomes highest-grossing film
Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office, even after a month of release. With Rs 1,831 crore in worldwide earnings, the film has become the highest-grossing movie in India, dethroning Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

It’s been over a month since Pushpa 2: The Rule hit the theatres, and the film, led by Allu Arjun, continues to break box office records. With Rs 1,831 crore in worldwide gross and Rs 1,438 crore in India, the movie has now officially surpassed SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
Released on 5 December, with paid premieres on 4 December, Pushpa 2 has far exceeded box office expectations. The film raked in Rs 725.8 crore in its first week, Rs 264.8 crore in its second week, Rs 129.5 crore in its third week, and Rs 69.65 crore in its fourth week. By the end of its fifth week, the movie's total domestic collection had crossed Rs 1,208.7 crore.

Pushpa 2 dethrones Baahubali 2, which held the record for over eight years. As of its 32-day run, Pushpa 2 has earned Rs 1,438 crore gross in India, surpassing Baahubali 2’s Rs 1,416.9 crore. The success of Pushpa 2 further solidifies its position as a major player in the Indian film industry, with the Hindi and Telugu versions contributing significantly to its box office numbers. The film has earned Rs 793.2 crore in Hindi and Rs 335.41 crore in Telugu, according to Sacnilk.
Meanwhile, actor Allu Arjun visited nine-year-old Sri Tej, who was critically injured in the Pushpa 2 stampede incident in Hyderabad. The actor offered his condolences to the boy’s father and promised support. This visit came after Allu Arjun was granted regular bail in connection with the stampede case.
