Mirzapur: The Movie has crossed Rs 200 crore worldwide within seven days of release. The film is now inching towards the Rs 150 crore India nett mark as it heads into its second weekend.

Mirzapur: The Movie continues its strong theatrical runand has now crossed the Rs 200-crore mark worldwide in just seven days. The Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal-starrer has maintained a healthy pace through its opening week, with its worldwide gross collection reaching Rs 212.44 crore after Day 7.

Domestically, the crime drama has also moved closer to the Rs 150 crore India nett milestone. According to the early estimates by trade website Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 10.55 crore nett on Day 7 across 10,379 shows. This takes its total India nett collection to Rs 148.45 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 176.94 crore.

The film opened its box-office run with Rs 25.75 crore on Day 1. It then witnessed a significant jump on Day 2, collecting Rs 32 crore, followed by its strongest day on Day 3, when it earned Rs 36 crore. Collections subsequently dropped to Rs 16 crore on Day 4 and Rs 15.60 crore on Day 5. Day 6 added Rs 12.55 crore, while Day 7 contributed another Rs 10.55 crore.

The film has also maintained a steady presence in the overseas market. After collecting Rs 4.25 crore on Day 1, it earned Rs 6 crore on Day 2 and Rs 7 crore on Day 3. Collections then stood at Rs 2.50 crore on Day 4, Rs 3.50 crore on Day 5 and Rs 2 crore on Day 6. On Day 7, the film added another Rs 2.50 crore, taking its cumulative overseas gross to Rs 35.50 crore.

Combining its India and overseas performance, Mirzapur: The Movie has now grossed Rs 212.44 crore worldwide. With the Rs 200 crore worldwide milestone already in the bag, the film's next challenge will be sustaining its momentum through the second weekend.

The film's domestic nett collection is also just Rs 1.55 crore away from crossing Rs 150 crore, making that the immediate target. If the strong theatrical run continues, the film could then set its sights on bigger milestones, including the Rs 175 crore and Rs 200 crore India nett marks.

Directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna, Mirzapur: The Movie takes the popular crime franchise from the small screen to the big screen. The film is set as a prequel to the first season of the series, delving into an earlier chapter in the lives of several key characters.

Pankaj Tripathi returns as Akhandanand (Kaleen) Tripathi, with Ali Fazal reprising his role as Guddu Pandit and Divyenndu as MunnaTripathi. Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Jitendra Kumar also return to the franchise in their respective roles. Joining the ensemble are Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Sonal Chauhan, Mohit Malik and Sushant Singh.
