Actor Parineeti Chopra is currently in London for the special screening of her sister Priyanka Chopra’s film ‘Heads of State’ premiered on Prime Video on July 2. Amid the excitement surrounding the action-packed film, Parineeti spoke to India Today about her and husband Raghav Chadha’s favourite genres, their binge-watching habits, and the acting offers he’s been receiving.
While speaking to us at the screening, Parineeti said, “Actually he's he's so good-looking, everybody always jokes with me and says, listen, ‘he should be in films’. People always say that and we always smile. It's very sweet, but of course, he's doing what he does. His calling is politics and he will always do that. He is very patriotic and wants to serve the country, so he says, ‘You do you and I'll do me, you know, it's very, it's very clear.’
Further, the ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ actor spoke about their binge-watching habits and joked about how Raghav Chadha is always watching the news.
“Raghav always wins because we watch the news every day, and now I can't sleep without watching the news. He actually always tells me that 'Listen, I don't have the time to watch so much, so you have got to recommend the good stuff to me’. And actually, I'm the same. I don't watch a lot of content. And I don't sit and watch a film every day. So even for me, I always tell people, listen, ‘recommend me the good stuff, and I will only watch that’. So we're a bit choosy watchers,” she added.
India Today’s review of ‘Heads of State’ reads, “As a straight-up action-comedy, 'Heads of State' punches above its weight. It’s not perfect, but it’s perfectly entertaining, and sometimes, that’s more than enough. The only real let-down is that this one’s headed straight to streaming. With a cast this magnetic and set pieces this extravagant, it truly deserved the theatrical treatment.”
'Heads of State' is streaming on Prime Video.
