The trailer of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has been unveiled, offering a look at the upcoming comedy-drama. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi, the film centres on a man whose life becomes complicated after an attempt to help a friend.

The trailer introduces Ayushmann as Prajapati Pandey, a seemingly straightforward forest officer whose life takes an unexpected turn after he tries to help a female friend. What follows is a spiral into confusion, as he finds himself entangled with not one, but three women, played by Sara, Wamiqa and Rakul. As misunderstandings pile up, the situation turns into a full-blown comedy of errors.

Adding to the madness, Vijay Raaz appears as a cop, further intensifying the already chaotic narrative. The nearly three-minute trailer showcases Ayushmann in a bold avatar, even featuring a moment where he appears fearless enough to tackle a cheetah, before shifting focus to his romantic entanglements with the three leading women.

As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the hero is married to Rakul Preet Singh’s character while simultaneously being involved with the two other women. The plot revolves around his increasingly messy attempts to manage these relationships, promising a series of comic situations.

The film serves as a sequel to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. Mudassar Aziz, who directed the first film, will call the shots this time, too. The 2019 film features Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.

Originally slated for a Holi 2026 release, the sequel has now been pushed to a new date. The makers have announced that Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will hit theatres on May 15, 2026.
