The 77th Emmy Awards race has officially begun, and Apple TV+’s psychological workplace drama 'Severance' is leading the charge with a whopping 27 nominations. HBO’s DC spin-off 'The Penguin' is not far behind, picking up 24 nominations. Meanwhile, Apple’s Hollywood satire 'The Studio', co-produced by Seth Rogen, and HBO’s holiday thriller 'The White Lotus' both earned 23 nominations each.
The Emmys 2025 nominations were rolled out on Tuesday night (IST), with initial announcements in the reality competition and talk show categories revealed on CBS Mornings. The remaining nominations were unveiled by actors Harvey Guilln (What We Do in the Shadows) and Brenda Song (Running Point).
