Ram Charan's wife Upasana defends his dargah visit after widespread criticism

Telugu star Ram Charan was criticised for visiting Ameen Peer Dargah in Kadap, Andhra Pradesh. His wife, Upasana Konidela, posted a photo of the RRR actor's visit to the dargah and defended him.

Several photos and videos of Ram Charan seeking blessings at the dargah are doing the rounds on the Internet. Sharing a similar photo, Upasana wrote on X, "Faith unites, never divides As Indians, we honor all paths to the divine our strength lies in unity. #OneNationOneSpirit #jaihind @AlwaysRamCharan respecting other religions while following his own (sic)."

Music composer AR Rahman, who recently announced his separation from wife Saira, is a regular visitor to the Dargah. Last year, he informed the authorities that he would bring Ram Charan to an event this year. Rahman invited Charan to attend the 80th National Mushaira Ghazal event at Kadapa Dargah, highlighting its significance. Charan warmly accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation in the event on November 18 in Kadapa.
