Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 1: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s film opens with Rs. 20 crore

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s first film Saiyaara opes to a humongous Rs. 20 crore, with tons of appreciation showered their way. The Yash Raj Films production has struck a chord among critics as well as audiences, for all its worth, despite great competition from other big-ticket Bollywood and Hollywood films.

The romance drama, helmed by Mohit Suri, has been a wonder at the Indian box office, opening the doors to additional shows at the weekend. With increasing demand, the producers have added midnight shows for the film already. As per industry monitor Sacnilk, Saiyaara raked in a staggering Rs. 20 crore on day one of its release, beating all pre-release trade expectations by a huge margin.

A massive spike can be anticipated in Saiyaara’s business on Saturday and Sunday, with Sacnilk forecasting a sensational beginning with Rs. 70-80 crore net opening weekend. The music chartbuster of the film, Mohit Suri’s direction, and YRF production value have all been showered with praise. People are applauding the newcomers, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, for their performances.

The Friday occupancy of the movie was quite good, with a total of 49.90% occupancy. The categorization was as follows: Morning Shows – 35.51%, Afternoon Shows – 46.62%, Evening Shows – 50.85%, and Night Shows – 66.62%. Saiyaara registered the maximum number of shows in Delhi NCR with 815 shows, and cities such as Jaipur, Lucknow, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Delhi NCR clocked the maximum occupancy.

Saiyaara features Ahaan Panday as Krish Kapoor, a budding musician who falls in love and becomes famous with Vaani, portrayed by Aneet Padda. The plot of the movie turns dramatic when Krish and Vaani’s love is tested. In spite of the challenges, Krish attains superstardom with his massive live shows, with a popular one-liner from Varun Badola’s character, “Apne pyaar ke liye na khud ko khatam mat kar lena.” With its great opening and favorable reviews, Saiyaara is going to leave an impression in the Bollywood movie market.
