Mumbai: Actor-politician Vijay’s eagerly awaited flick ‘Jana Nayagan’ has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), with a few cuts.
This follows the several-month-long delay over the certification of the movie.
While the edit list detailing the changes demanded by the CBFC would be made available for upload soon, the censor certificate might come through by next week.

The film might be released on July 24 or July 31, sources say, although no official statement has come forth.
‘Jana Nayagan’, which is projected to be Vijay’s final film as he fully transitions to politics, had been embroiled in a couple of legal and certification controversies.
