Khushi Kapoor’s Mom 2 likely to hit theatres in November 2026: report

Mumbai: The film featuring Khushi Kapoor is expected to have a release date of November 2026 and will not be an OTT release, instead, it’s expected to have a theatrical release.

For the unknown, Mom was a 2017 released psychological thriller which starred the late veteran actress Sridevi in the titular role.

Khushi Kapoor will be playing the protagonist in the film, Sridevi’s younger daughter.

Several reports have confirmed that the shooting for Mom 2 is currently underway, and much information like the name of the director, full star cast or the story hasn’t yet been revealed.

An announcement for the official release date will be made soon.

It can be remembered that Mom was critically acclaimed for performance and had released in 2017,Sridevi was awarded the National Film Award for best Actress posthumously for Mom, therefore expectations for Mom 2 are quite high from the industry and the viewers.
