Mumbai, rains and love. Sounds magic right? Well, Mumbai known as city of dreams is also the city of love. Some or the other way, love finds you. While everyone is slowly forgetting about the simplicity of love. The story of Metro In Dino beautiful brings back nostalgia and simplicity of love. Anurag Basu’s magic is back on screen with new characters, story, and music but with the same old feeling of love and magic.

The movie is a perfect example of what goes inside’s Anurag Basu’s head. Colours, chaos and music is bonded together to create magic on screen. The film is an anthology, connected by an invisible thread called love. Also, how love knows no bounds. Neither age nor societal status. Love is a beautiful feeling ad it must be lived. This is exactly what Anurag Basu has taught us through the film.

The movie brings back fond memories of each stage of life. Now, coming to characters everyone has worked brilliantly. Pankaj Tripathi is the best. His effortlessly comic timing and simple yet enchanting role shows us a lot on screen. He takes up the role of an insecure husband who is chasing after his wife (Konkana Sen Sharma) who is adamant on divorcing him. The duo is just perfect. Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher take you back to another era where understanding and adjusting meant love. And, how simplicity multiplied the value of it. The other two modern couple, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Ali Fazal who try to make things work out amidst temptation and odds. And, finally Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur, who are just perfect in their roles. It’s all about love in mess, chances and odds.

The music of Pritam will take you on a journey of imagination where you feel each and every word of songs. From heart-breaking to healing to falling on love. it’s all about understanding each and every stage of love.

Meanwhile a special screening of Anurag Basu’s directorial ‘Metro…In Dino’ was held in Mumbai on Thursday night for B-town.

Several stars gathered together under one roof to cheer for the whole team of ‘Metro…In Dino’, which stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh , and Ali Fazal in the lead roles.

Ali arrived at the venue with his wife, Richa Chadha. The couple happily posed for the shutterbugs.

Sara was spotted arriving at the screening with her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. Sara looked elegant in a white ethnic suit.

Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan, too, attended the screening. They both were happy to meet each. Look at their reunion after ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ promotions.
