Ranbir Kapoor gets emotional as ‘Ramayana’ shoot concludes, film set for Diwali 2026 release

The much-awaited Bollywood movie “Ramayana” by director Nitesh Tiwari has completed shooting, with Ranbir Kapoor being all emotional and grateful in a touching speech. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi.

Ranbir Kapoor termed performing Lord Ram as the defining role of his career, giving credit to the entire team for their dedication and hard work. The actor struggled to leave behind the huge project, which has created enormous hype and speculation ever since its announcement.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment, “Ramayana” will be released in two parts – Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027. The fans are waiting in anticipation for the announcement of the official poster releasing on July 3, which will probably give away more of the grand vision that Nitesh Tiwari has been toiling over.

The cast of the project has been generating quite a stir among the audience. Ranbir Kapoor has been actively training for his role in the film. The film is expected to be a mythological epic, and we will definitely see old India in some amazing visuals and storytelling.
