As each episode of BBC's The Traitors unfolds, the Round Table discussions grow more intense, and last night's session was no exception.

In the latest instalment, which aired on Thursday night (January 9), emotions were running high as players voiced their doubts about Tyler, who had been indecisive about who he thought were Traitors. Leanne and Leon, with whom Tyler had formed a close bond on the show, were among the 12 who voted to banish him.

Upon his departure from the castle, he addressed his fellow contestants, saying: "I just want to say I love all of you. it's just a game, so just keep going and smash it. I love you. I am a Faithful," which led to Livi storming out of the room in tears, reports Wales Online.

After his unexpected elimination, Tyler revealed the covert tactics he had employed prior to his banishment and how his plans unravelled following Keith's premature departure.

"I didn't think I'd ever get banished. I thought the only way I'd ever leave the game was being murdered," he explained. "Next thing you know, Leon drops a mini bombshell and puts suspicion on me. I thought that's my mate as well, because I got really close to Leon in there, and obviously Leanne as well. And they were the ones who went for me, then Jake as well. But you know, is what it is."

He then disclosed his strategy in the game, saying: "I'd decided I'd align myself with the older players. Keith was sat next to me as well at the Round Table. I thought, this is me and Keith and we are going to be the duo I'm going to stick with. The next thing you know, walk in next morning, he's been murdered."

Before joining the show, Tyler shared his aspirations for the potential winnings, with the prize pot now standing at a hefty £29,500.

"One hundred per cent buy my own barbershop. I love my barbering, that's my pride and joy," he gushed. "I wake up in the morning and where some people might dread having to go to work, I can't wait to get there and just start talking to people, cutting people's hair, making them look good and that makes me feel good.

"It's the best thing I've ever done. I've been doing it for five years now. It's the best decision I've ever made in my life."
