ITV Love Island All Stars' Curtis Pritchard dealt cruel blow just days before launch

by · BristolLive

Curtis Pritchard, a former contestant from series five of Love Island, has been dealt a tough hand just days before his debut on Love Island: All Stars.

The reality star, who made it to the final in 2019 with ex-partner Maura Higgins, is set to return to the villa for another shot at love on the ITV2 dating show.

Fans will see Curtis re-enter the famous villa alongside some familiar faces when the second edition of All Stars kicks off on Monday (January 13) evening. However, even before setting foot in the South African villa, Curtis has been labelled as the public's least favourite contestant.

Heart Bingo, an online bingo website, analysed social sentiment data from X, formerly known as Twitter, since the full line-up of contestants was announced earlier this week. Curtis received the lowest share of positive posts during that period.

Catherine Agbaje, a favourite from series 10, topped the list with 51.9% of social media conversations speaking positively about her. In contrast, only 22.3% of posts about Curtis were positive, placing him at the bottom of the pile in the public's eyes.

Other favourites include series two legend Scott Thomas with 49%, series 11 star Ronnie Vint at 48.4%, and series nine contestant Olivia Hawkins with 43.7%. Slightly better received than Curtis were series four beauty Kaz Crossley at 23.1%, series six hunk Nas Majeed at 25.7%, and series three stunner Gabby Allen with 26.6%, reports the Mirror.

Sarah Caskie, Head of Brand for online bingo website Heart Bingo, commented: "There's not long to wait until the new series of Love Island All Stars gets underway and Curtis Pritchard already seems to be out of favour with the public."

"Our research found that, since the lineup was announced, just 22.3% of posts on X concerning Curtis have been positive – the lowest proportion of any contestant."

"Compare that to Catherine Agbaje, of whom 51.9% of posts have been positive, making her the public's favourite islander ahead of the first episode. Scott Thomas and Ronnie Vint also appear to be popular, while out of favour along with Curtis are Kaz Crossley and Nas Majeed."

Love Island All Stars airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
