Molly-Mae Hague addresses 'challenging time' amid Tommy Fury rumours and show criticism

Molly-Mae Hague has confessed to facing difficulties following the launch of her new TV show, stating it's "definitely been challenging at times".

In her fresh Amazon Prime series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the ex-Love Island star gives fans a peek into her life as she juggles motherhood and the debut of her own fashion label, Maebe.

Recently, Molly-Mae made headlines due to an unexpected break up from her former fiancé, professional boxer Tommy Fury, with whom she has a daughter, Bambi.

However, her new series has received backlash, with Molly-Mae having to defend the show against allegations on social media that she and Tommy have already reconciled, with some followers implying their separation was a "publicity stunt".

In a recent chat, Molly-Mae, who was seen kissing her ex on New Year's Eve, shared her emotions now that the show has aired, admitting it has been "challenging", reports the Mirror.

Speaking to Closer, Molly-Mae said: "I have mixed emotions. Some days I'm feeling slightly more anxious, sometimes I'm like, you know what, I'm really proud of what we've created.

"It's definitely been challenging at times, but I think I have to let go and trust that I need to just show my honest self. I'm ready for it to be out there now and to see what everybody thinks."

She mentioned she'd been "reading the comments" and conceded that it would probably take a while before she can "get my thick skin into play", but she's "owning it", despite the "massive mix of opinions".

Molly-Mae Hague recently addressed the criticism, highlighting that she actually mentions in the show that she wishes her breakup was a "publicity stunt" because it would have been less painful. She expressed that going through a split was difficult, particularly amid the speculations.

Molly-Mae stated: "People say, 'oh, this has obviously just been done for long term brand or a publicity stunt', that is very painful, because it's real life. Tommy and I have a baby together, and it's very, very real, and it's a really hard thing that we've both gone through the last six months. I wish it wasn't, because it would have been a lot easier, but it isn't."

The couple, who met on Love Island, had a five-year romance and welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023. They got engaged six months later, but shocked fans when they announced their split last year.

However, when reports emerged about their New Year's Eve kiss, Molly-Mae seemed surprised, reading about it on camera and reacting with shock, saying: "Oh my god... No, my god. What? !" before adding: "Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury kiss on New Year's Eve... That is so bad."
