Ahead of the premier of Love Island All Stars season two, Maya Jama has been sharing her thoughts on the line-up, as well as teasing some "jaw-dropping" bombshells. Maya, who has hosted Love Island since 2023, appeared on This Morning live from the villa in South Africa to discuss the new season of Love Island All Stars.

The cast was revealed yesterday, January 7, with fan favourites such as Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen, Scott Thomas, and Marcel Somerville, returning to the villa. On This Morning, Jama said the bombshells on the forthcoming ITV show have "got to be a secret."

"So I will say nothing on that, but I know there's going to be explosions, and I know it's going to be really jaw dropping as usual," she exclaimed.

Maya emphasised her excitement about the contestants: "I have said many times, I've been a fan since series one. So, I know all of them and seeing the line-up now I'm like, ‘Ok drama, excitement, hopefully some love, and maybe potential forever romances’. I'm mostly intrigued by the exes getting back in there though, obviously, because – drama!"

Fans of the show were excited to see exes Gabby and Marcel return to the villa together. The pair were coupled up on the show back in 2017, finishing in fourth place, the couple stayed together after the show, until their split in 2018 after Marcel cheated on Gabby.

Maya shares viewers' excitement, giving her perspective on the couple: "I'm such a fan of both of them and that series was one of my favourites as well. I think Marcel is such a sweetheart, Gabby is just the loveliest human as well," she said.

"I'm kind of rooting for them to get back together, but who knows, they could end up in a cute friendship. We're not sure at this point but neither of them know the other’s going in, so that's going to be just fireworks anyway."

The Bristol-born television presenter also spoke about the return of Scott Thomas, who was on the show almost ten years ago back in 2016, saying: "For the ones that haven't been on Love Island in a really long time, it's such a different world now. It's such a different game and just seeing how he adapts to new season Love Island is going to be really, really interesting.

"I'm also like, who's going to go with who, I'm trying to do mind maths at the moment - and actually, I have no idea."

Love Island All Stars season two will premiere on Monday, January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
