Spencer Matthews has shared news of his professional separation from Vogue Williams, intending to leave their joint endeavour for an "absolutely epic member" of the family to take his place.

On a recent episode of the Spencer and Vogue podcast, the duo revealed there was significant news for their listeners, with Spencer announcing his departure from the show.

Vogue reassured fans that the change wasn't due to any bad blood between them. Instead, Spencer expressed his desire to focus on different "interests" and an "upcoming challenge".

He remarked: "You can probably tell where this is going. I am moving on from this podcast to pursue other business interests and to focus on my upcoming challenge and just other bits and bobs that I would like to spend more time focusing on.

"I've loved doing this show; I have and the, you know, it would never have been as popular as it has been without the listeners," reports Dublin Live.

However, Vogue dismissed Spencer's idea of making occasional returns, stating firmly: "Oh no, you're not coming back. You can't just leave and think you're coming back."

Expressing gratitude for the audience's support over the past four-and-a-half years, Spencer highlighted how it "meant a lot" to him and mentioned he would miss being part of the show, although he hinted at possible future drop-ins as he embarks on "other avenues".

There will likely be buzz among fans as Spencer has hinted he'll disclose his future endeavours shortly, having shared with a teasing edge that an announcement is on the horizon in the coming weeks. Vogue, on her part, expressed: "I'm sad to see you go, obviously, but I see you all day, every day, anyway."

She went on to add: "So I'm going to be sad to see you go, but I won't miss ya because I'll see you at home."

Spencer then revealed that the podcast will persist, with him stepping away to make room for someone with "equal or superior charisma", who is also ready to dive into banter and is "funnier", none other than Vogue's sister, Amber Wilson.

He pointed out that Amber is an "absolutely epic member" of their clan who is sure to do an "incredible job". Vogue concurred, remembering the favourable response from their audience when Amber previously made a guest appearance.

Initiated in 2020, 'Spencer and Vogue' has peeled back the curtain for listeners on the couple's domestic life with their three kids, engaging in conversations that range from partnership dynamics to professional happenings.

It's been reported by ATV Today that Amber, who has previously featured as a guest on the podcast, will now step up as a full-time presenter alongside her sister Vogue, in the newly christened show 'Vogue and Amber'.
