The Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 post-launch roadmap promises a lot of intriguing new content for the year ahead (and hopefully even more Kingdom Come: Deliverance II achievements to boot). We'll have free updates and Expansion Pass story content alike, and with the first game already established as one of the best Xbox RPGs out there, all this extra stuff for the sequel will no doubt earn it a spot on the list too.

Warhorse Studios shares post-launch roadmap for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

  • Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 launches on February 4, 2025
  • The new Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 roadmap includes free updates this spring
  • We'll also have plenty of Expansion Pass content arriving across the rest of 2025

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is now only a matter of weeks away, and this post-launch roadmap elaborates on everything coming to the game after release. Firstly, we'll have free updates in spring with a barber feature, horse racing, and a Hardcore mode.

Then in the summer, the Brushes with Death story content arrives as part of the Expansion Pass, where we'll "help a mysterious artist with an enigmatic past." Autumn will bring Legacy of the Forge, where we'll "restore Kuttenberg's forge and become a master blacksmith, while in winter we'll dive into Mysteria Ecclesia to "explore Sedlec Monastery to stop the spread of a deadly illness." Warhorse Studios will also release the usual quality-of-life updates.

You can access the Expansion Pass with the Gold Edition of the game, which also gets you the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, the Shields of Seasons Passing cosmetic DLC, and, if you pre-order, The Lion’s Crest bonus quest (this last bonus quest is also available when pre-ordering the Standard Edition).

All of this post-launch content looks great. Infiltrating the Monastery was one of the most intriguing bits of the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance game (although it might not have been to everybody's tastes) so I'm keen to see what that winter expansion will be like, while the free horse racing update sounds like a blast.

I loved the bit of the sequel I got to try for our Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 preview, so I'm well up for trying any post-launch content the game might wish to throw at us. What about you? What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
