Xbox Game Pass adds Descenders Next in April

No More Robots and Ragesquid have unveiled the Descenders Next release date. The long-awaited follow-up launches for Xbox consoles and joins Game Pass in April.

The Descenders Next Xbox Game Pass release date has been revealed. You will be able to start unlocking the Descenders Next achievements when the Xbox sports game launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on April 9, 2025.

Descenders Next speeds onto Xbox Game Pass soon

While 2018's Descenders was all about mountain biking, Descenders Next will take players to the slopes for a variety of different downhill sports. At launch, Next features both mountainboarding and snowboarding, but more sports will be added at a later date.

According to No More Robots and Ragesquid, the world you will get to explore is "absolutely massive" and features "huge" biomes, secret parks to discover, and a load of different races to compete in. You'll also have more control over your rider than compared to the original Descenders and will be able to pull off moves such as flips, barrel rolls, and grinding. While you can play solo, Descenders Next also features multiplayer for up to 12 players, so you'll be able to tame the slopes with your pals.
