- It launches into Xbox Game Pass for Ultimate and PC subscribers
- Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is the sequel to Loney Mountains: Downhill
If you enjoyed exploring alpine environments in the cycling-focused Lonely Mountains: Downhill, it looks like Snow Riders features the same great gameplay style we loved in its predecessor, but switches out bikes for skis.
As the name suggests, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders sees you skiing down mountain slopes, challenging you to master deep snow, ice lakes, jumps, and more. Much like the previous game, you'll be able to find many shortcuts through Snow Rider's winding races, mastering tricks along the way for a spot on the leaderboards. It does come with one major fresh feature too: online multiplayer. Whether you want to blaze a trail down the mountains in head-to-head races for up to eight players, or grab a pal and explore the mountains as a team, you'll not need to be alone as you conquer the chilly mountain vistas.
We've already picked up the 45 Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders Xbox achievements, and it's a familiar-feeling list. For a completion here, you'll need to unlock new pairs of skis, conquer all challenges, pull off a plethora of different tricks, and beat your own Ghost scores. Be aware that there are a few online achievements too, such as Race Like You Mean It, which tasks you with coming first, second, or third in a Racing mode Run with at least four players.
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders leaves our list of upcoming Game Pass games today — take a look for a glimpse at just a few of the games heading to the service in the coming months. Will you be tearing down mountains for glory in Megagon Industries' latest? Drop a comment below and let us know!
