The 76th annual ACE Eddie Awards presented by American Cinema Editors (ACE) announced its 2026 winners live from UCLA’s Royce Hall. Each year the guild recognizes outstanding editing in 14 categories of film, television, documentaries, and now, for the first time in ACE Eddies history, shorts and digital content.

Among this year’s winners were “Sinners” and “One Battle After Another,” whose respective editors Michael P. Shawver and Andy Jurgensen are both currently nominated for the Best Editing Oscar. On the TV side, recent Emmy winning series like “The Studio” and “The Pitt,” edited by Eric Kissack and Mark Strand, respectively, took home the Eddie prizes.

This year’s ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award recipient was two-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Ang Lee. The prize is meant to recognize a filmmaker who exemplifies distinguished achievement in the art and business of film. Kim Larson, Managing Director and Head of YouTube’s Creator and Gaming team, also accepted YouTube’s ACE Visionary Award, and Emmy-winning editor/director Arthur Forney, ACE, and Oscar-nominated editor Robert Leighton received ACE Career Achievement awards.

The 2026 ACE Eddie Awards were hosted by actor and comedian Asif Ali. See the full list of winners (indicated in bold) below:
