Producers rushing for ‘Operation Sindoor’ title

Yesterday, the Indian Armed Forces launched “Operation Sindoor”, a planned strike against the terror camps in Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir and Pakistan. This attack was in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the death of 26 innocent tourists.

Meanwhile, the Hindi film industry producers are reportedly queuing up to register the title, “Operation Sindoor”, since yesterday. According to the sources, Mahaveer Jain Films is the frontrunner of this race and was the first banner to register this title. We hear that renowned director Madhur Bhandarkar also registered this title.

Popular banners Zee Studios and T-Series are the third and fourth production houses to register this title. All these banners seem to have plans to make a film under this title, based on this recent operation and the Pahalgam attack. “Operation Sindoor” is a powerful title and will instantly remind people of the Indian Armed Forces’ Strike. It also stands as a tribute to the women who lost their husbands and family members in the terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, we hear that industry circles are surprised to see this craze for the title and are eager to see who will finally get it. As per the rules, the producer who registered first will get the title. But we have to wait for a few more days to see which banner will ultimately announce a movie with this title.

Military-based films are always loved by viewers. Movies like Border, URI, Raazi and Amaran are received well by the audience and that might be the reason why Bollywood producers are running behind the “Operation Sindoor” title.
