Oscars 2025 Nominations: Emilia Pérez Dominates The List

by · Gulte.com

The nominations for the 97th Oscars were unveiled on Thursday in Los Angeles. Surprisingly, the musical crime drama Emilia Pérez is currently leading with 13 nominations. The predictions say that the film will surely bag awards in at least three to four categories. Karla Sofía Gascón became the first transgender performer ever nominated for Best Actress. Interestingly, Anuja is a short film backed by Priyanka Chopra, which secured India’s only Oscar nomination this year in the Best Live-Action Short category.
