ITV Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon shares baby's name for first time after giving birth

Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon has shared her newborn daughter's adorable name for the first time. Lucy, known for her role as Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, and her partner, Preston North End footballer Ryan Ledson, welcomed their second child last Saturday (January 11).

The couple had previously revealed they were expecting in August. In a heartfelt Instagram post featuring an image of their new arrival cosily nestled in a fleece-lined seat and dressed in a floral outfit with 'Little Sister' embroidered across it, the star - who is already mother to Sonny Jude, 23 months, with Ryan - announced: "Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25 x."

After receiving a flood of congratulatory messages from Corrie castmates, friends, and followers alike, Lucy went on to disclose her daughter's name through further Instagram pictures that showcased sweet moments of bonding and how young Sonny is adapting to being a big brother. She revealed: "Our Nancy Margaret Ledson. A dream come true."

Corrie actress Sally Carman-Duttine, known for her role as Abi Webster, gushed: "Just gorgeous," and her co-star from the cobbles, Julia Goulding, who portrays Shona Platt, added simply: "Heaven," reports the Manchester Evening News.

Meanwhile, Cait Fitton, the show's Lauren Bolton admired: "I'm so buzzing for you all!! She is absolutely gawjus."

Sair Khan, who plays Alya Nazir, added: "Just beautiful." Samia Longchambon, who is Maria Windass on the soap, joined in with a series of love heart eyes emojis, matched by former Corrie actor Brooke Vincent.

Helen Flanagan, Brooke's once on-screen sister, commented: "So beautiful," accompanied by further love heart eyes emojis.
