Cardiff has already had a sneak peek of what's in store when the legendary Gallagher brothers take to the stage for the first time in over a decade this Friday. Oasis is set to make a grand comeback, with residents near the Principality Arena already getting hints of what's to come.

The iconic Britpop band is just days away from one of the most monumental reunions in music history as the feuding Liam and Noel finally reconcile. They've already made history with their sold-out tour, which will commence its global journey later this week.

Oasis have already touched down in Cardiff to add the final touches, and nearby fans report hearing the full setlist during rehearsals. Earlier this week, those in proximity to the stadium heard Cigarettes and Alcohol echoing from the venue.

They also got a taste of hits like Some Might Say and F****n' In The Bushes. According to a fan on Reddit, Oasis are slated to perform an extensive 24-song setlist.

The user disclosed the rehearsal setlist, providing fans with a hint of what might be featured in the live shows. They stated that the setlist begins with an intro of F****n' in the Bushes, followed by Hello, Acquiesce, Morning Glory, and then Some Might Say, reports the Mirror.

Cigarettes and Alcohol comes next, followed by Fade Away, Supersonic, Roll With It, and Bring It On Down. It's speculated that Noel will perform Talk Tonight, Half the World Away, and Little By Little.

Rumours swirl about the band's opening numbers, with buzz that they'll launch their show with 'D'you Know What I Mean?

', followed by hits like 'Stand By Me', 'Cast No Shadow', 'Slide Away', 'Whatever', 'Live Forever' and 'Rock 'n' Roll Star'. It's said that Noel will take the lead for 'The Masterplan' and 'Don't Look Back in Anger', leading up to a grand finale featuring 'Wonderwall' and 'Champagne Supernova'.

The speculative setlist has fans excited, though some have voiced dissatisfaction with the omission of fan-favourite 'Columbia'. A fan expressed their perplexity: "Crazy there's no Columbia but little by little got my stoked."

Another simply asked: "No Columbia?" And another emphasised the need to convey to the band how crucial 'Columbia' is: "I need to convince one of them of Columbia's importance."

Anticipation builds as Oasis has confirmed stage timings for their Cardiff performances, with doors opening at 5pm and warm-up act Cast taking the stage at 6pm. At 7pm, Richard Ashcroft, the Verve's lead singer and a friend of the Gallaghers, will perform.

Then, at 8.15pm this Friday, Oasis is set to make their eagerly anticipated comeback. They are slated to deliver an epic show lasting over two hours before wrapping things up in time for the 22.30pm curfew.

In preparation for their return to the live music scene, Oasis regrouped several months ago to hone their performance. Images emerged in May capturing the first glimpses of the band post-rehearsal in London.

The photo teased fans with Noel, alongside guitarists Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, and Andy Bell—with Andy additionally taking on bass duties—for the highly anticipated full-capacity gigs, before Liam made his appearance on June 3 after a period of voice rest.

The refreshed Oasis lineup is bolstered with keyboardist Christian Madden and Joey Waronker, known for his past collaborations with Liam, handling the drums, marking his first involvement in the band's performances.

A source shared insights regarding the upcoming shows, saying: "With a new lineup and it being such a huge first show, the boys will do some songs inside the venue too. Some tours would start with a smaller show or take a week or two to get into the groove again."

The insider further remarked on the Gallagher brothers' approach, stating: "But there is no time for that, and also Liam and Noel want every night to be massive. This is such a huge comeback show, and they are taking it very seriously. It all points to it being an incredible comeback tour."

Noel and Liam Gallagher’s eagerly awaited Friday reunion marks their first public performance together since Oasis' abrupt dissolution nearly twenty years ago; Noel infamously exited the band on August 28, 2009, citing an inability to continue working with Liam, triggering a subsequent decade-plus run of mutual disparagement.
