Stacey Solomon shares unexpected hobby as she celebrates Joe Swash's birthday

Stacey Solomon surprised her followers with a rare glimpse into her leisure activities while celebrating her other half, Joe Swash's special day. In a recent Instagram post, the 34-year-old mum shared that she joined Joe for a fishing trip to mark his birthday.

The Loose Women panellist uploaded an image showing Joe with his rod and herself in the background, photo-ready with her own fishing gear. The post, set against a picturesque natural backdrop, was captioned with heartfelt birthday wishes for Joe.

Stacey wrote: "Happy Birthday Joe Joe," followed by a duo of fish emojis.

Adding to the warmth, Stacey expressed her deep affection for Joe: "I actually love you so much it's a joke. Hope you've had the best day on the lake where you belong. To the moon and back Joe! Happy 43," completed by a white heart emoji. Stacey's newfound enjoyment in angling has come as quite a revelation to fans accustomed to seeing her undertake home improvement projects, whip up meals, and share slices of family life online.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, frequently give their followers a glimpse into their fun and loving relationship. Earlier this month, they revealed plans to open up their family life to cameras for a new TV series set to air in 2025.

The pair, parents to three children together and three from previous relationships, will star in the upcoming TV series next year. The Loose Women panellist and former EastEnders actor are parents to son Rex and daughters Rose and Belle.

Stacey also has two sons, Zachary and Leighton, while Joe has a son named Harry from a past relationship. Although the number of episodes is yet to be confirmed, Stacey hinted that the new BBC series aims to help fans 'get to know them a little more'.

Previous speculations about the series suggest it will offer an intimate look into the busy lives of Stacey, Joe, and their six children at their luxurious Essex home. From Stacey's flair for interior design to the lively youngsters and their pets – including their beloved ducks Daisy and Delilah Solomon-Swash.

The Sort Your Life Out presenter excitedly announced on her Instagram: "A new year. A very new adventure. Coming Spring 2025. We've been so nervous and excited to share this. Here is us. All of us. In 2024 we opened up our home and made a series about our lives, family, work and everything in between. It was a huge leap into the unknown and it's been an absolute whirlwind making it. But last year as a family we decided to say yes to more and do things we'd never done."

"We have spoken about making a documentary for a long time, lots of you have asked too. So here we go. A journey with us every second of the way. Through the laughter the tears and the craziness... We hope it makes you smile, feel good and hopefully enjoy getting to know us all a little more."
