Bluemarble Men’s Spring 2027: Life of a Collector

Bluemarble presented its men’s collection in a stripped-down apartment. Upon climbing up the stairs, guests were greeted with two mannequins in a surreal setup, with a square table strewn with objects waiting in the next room. The last stop of the experience was in another room, where a vertical screen looped the digital lineup and a wall densely hung with garments.

Grounded in Anthony Alvarez’s fascination with board games — for the joy shared between participants — and French writer and sociologist Roger Caillois’ lifelong passion for collecting precious stones, the lineup offered tailoring with mineral‑inspired finishes, cargo pants with metal buttons and spade‑like studs, patchwork shirts, and jeans with velvet card‑deck appliqués.

The proposition reflected the brand’s seasonless wardrobing strategy, a pragmatic approach in a challenging market. Yet while the intimate format let guests get close to the make and finish, much more could have been done beyond complimentary drinks to ensure those who made the effort left the static experience amid extreme heat with a smile.
