Richard and Judy are gearing up for a sensational reunion, years after their last joint venture

The iconic duo, who tied the knot in 1986, became household names while presenting This Morning and their own show, Richard and Judy. While Judy has since taken a step back from the limelight, Richard has been at the helm of Good Morning Britain.

But all that could be set to change as the couple hint at an exciting new venture reports the Mirror. It seems underwear might be on the cards for the pair, who have recently trademarked their name with plans to market a range of products including fragrances, cosmetics, and potentially lingerie.

The Intellectual Property Office revealed the application this week. The 'Richard and Judy' brand was first protected in 2000, with a renewal filed in December last year.

The inspiration behind this move might stem from Judy's infamous wardrobe malfunction at the National Television Awards in 2000, where her bra made an unexpected appearance.

"Judy's bra flash was perhaps one of the outstanding moments of their career and may have inspired the couple to consider underwear as an option - and clearly they still think so," an insider disclosed to the Sun. "But it's not the only product they'll be able to put their name on and they could make a mint."

Richard and Judy first crossed paths in 1982 while working on different programmes for Granada Television, both being married to other people at that time.

The pair subsequently divorced their partners and tied the knot four years later in Manchester. Richard has openly discussed having multiple affairs during his first marriage.

Married at just 21 to Lynda Hooley, he has expressed regret over the union, admitting he found it difficult to remain monogamous. In a candid revelation to the Mirror about his infidelities during the six-year marriage, Richard disclosed: "Oh lots, numerous, probably in the space of about five years, about 10."

He further reflected: "Although the marriage had some very happy moments, there was a lot of negativity in it. I'm not using that as an excuse. It's wrong to have affairs, but I was a very young man."

Richard had a successful and happy marriage with Judy, with whom he shares daughter Chloe. She recently gave insights into her own personal life, sharing her co-parenting experiences with former husband James Haskell.

When asked about the longevity of her parents' relationship amidst discussing her own challenges, Chloe wittily responded: "The secret to them having such a long marriage is to not get divorced! " In her interview with Closer Magazine, Chloe further confided: "They've been together over 40 years and during that time there have been periods where they really struggled, but they kept going and stayed together. I don't think it was ever bad enough for them to split."
