EastEnders Ian Beale star Adam Woodyatt reportedly found himself in a spat with fans as he tried to leave the BBC afterparty.
The soap cast had just finished filming a tragic episode where Martin Fowler dies and were celebrating their work at a party filled with booze.
Several actors were spotted backstage enjoying beers and other drinks as they bid farewell to Martin actor James Bye. Adam shared a ride home with his co-star Jessie Wallace, who portrays Kat Slater.
However, as they tried to exit Elstree Studios, they were swarmed by fans eager to see their favourite stars, having waited outside all night, the Mirror reports.
Witnesses claim that 56-year-old Adam was quick to exit the car he and Jessie were in, urging people to clear the road for safety reasons and to allow the cast to leave the studios safely.
One onlooker claimed Adam "shouted at fans" saying: "Move out of the way! " After moving to the pavement, one fan asked Adam for an autograph, which he refused. "I'm not signing autographs, just get out of the way."
Jessie was heard telling Adam to get back in the car but reportedly seemed delighted as she waved and smiled at the crowd.
Meanwhile actress Natalie Cassidy was in high spirits just hours after filming a dramatic birth scene as her character, Sonia, amidst the chaos of an exploding Queen Vic pub.
Despite the demise of her on-screen beau, Martin, Louisa Lytton (Ruby Allen) was also seen in a cheerful mood.
Ahead of the recent live episode, Adam Woodyatt opened up about a memorable gaffe from the 2010 live show which saw Tanya Branning star Jo Joyner, 47, mistakenly call Ian Beale by the actor's real name, asking Laurie Brett’s character Jane Beale: "How's Adam? "
Recalling the blip, Adam commented in a recent special: "We all felt for Jo. You've gotta think how she felt - that when ever anybody mentions the live now that's what gets mentioned. She can't escape from it."
He added: "I remember she came into ... Cause we were all in different studios...And Jo's come in and she's. shaken up. Really, really shaken up. And we're all sort of looking at her and going 'what's the matter? what's the matter? ' And she just went 'You'll find out'."
Adam, a long-standing member of the original EastEnders cast since its 1985 debut, highlighted the intense pressure of performing in a live episode.
He commented: "Any one of us could get it wrong and it's the pressure of it. The crew could get something wrong. We could get something wrong."
Jo, who has previously opened up about her own on-air mistake, told Radio Times: "I've got a good sense of humour. But I couldn't laugh about it until I'd gone out there the next night [for more live scenes]. I knew that people were watching to see if I messed up again."
In a gripping scene just before Martin's tragic demise, he revealed his deep feelings for Stacey with a heartfelt proposal, saying: "I truly, madly, head over heels, love you, I don't ever want to be apart from you again, alright? Will you marry me? " He humorously suggested they skip another wedding celebration as they had already married once.
Adding sentimentally: "It's you and me showing the world how much we love each other."
Unfortunately, this moving moment was marred by sadness as paramedics later explained to Stacey that after freeing Martin from under a heavy beam, he would succumb to crush syndrome, leading to kidney failure and inevitable cardiac arrest. Stacey's greatest fear materialised when she let out an agonising scream after Martin's death, echoing through Walford.
James Bye spoke about his departure from the show after a decade. He said: "Saying goodbye is not easy, but after 10 years at EastEnders and on the night of the shows epic 40th anniversary – the time felt right.

"It's an honour to leave on a story of this magnitude. A huge thank you to all the fans of the show."
He added: "EastEnders wouldn't be what it is without you – and to the BBC and EastEnders team for trusting me with this role for so many years. This fruit and veg man will always hold a special place in my heart. It's time to look forward, and I'm incredibly excited for what the future holds. RIP Martin Fowler."
