Ryan Thomas breaks silence on brother Scott's Love Island return following 'snub'

Ryan Thomas admitted he was in the dark about his younger brother Scott's upcoming return to Love Island, as it was announced that Scott will be part of the next series of Love Island: All Stars.

This second instalment of the ITV2 dating show spin-off will reunite former contestants for another chance at romance. Premiered last year, viewers will recall the show during the winter in South Africa, with a roster of Islanders.

Scott, remembered for his early entry into the Spanish villa and securing third place with Kady McDermott on day 45 of the second series, will be joining the line-up. Post-villa life saw him move in with Kady for a year before their split Manchester Evening News reports.

Since then, he established a PR agency named The Social PR in Manchester. Discussing his Love Island comeback, Scott admitted: "I've been on a massive journey over the last five years; I've been working on sobriety, personal growth, self development, when I first went into the Villa I was still a bit of a boy...

"I feel like I finally know who I am. It might sound cheesy, but I'm ready to settle down and I've never been open to saying those words. Where better than Love Island?"

Following the reveal of the lineup earlier this week, Ryan took to Instagram Stories sharing a picture of Scott amid other Islanders, light-heartedly remarking: "What's going on here. He never told me this! ! ! ?" accompanied by a flushed face emoji.

However, as Scott seemingly overlooked Ryan and his relationship with his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh, he revealed in his pre-villa interview who he looks up to most in terms of relationships: "My brother, Adam and his wife Caroline. They have an amazing relationship."

"I always say I want to find 'my Caroline'. They are still madly in love. Also watching Sophie Piper and Josh Ritchie from All Stars 1 having belly laughs was great as well."
