ITV Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon announces daughter's adorable name days after birth

Former Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon has revealed the sweet name of her newborn daughter just days after the little one's arrival.

Earlier this week, Lucy confirmed that she and her partner, Preston North End footballer Ryan Ledson, had welcomed their second child.

Known for her role as Bethany Platt on the iconic ITV soap, Lucy announced back in August that she was expecting their second child and shared on Instagram that their baby girl was born last Saturday, January 11.

In a post featuring an image of her daughter nestled snugly in a fleece-lined baby chair, donning a floral baby grow with 'Little Sister' inscribed on it, Lucy—who is also mother to 23-month-old Sonny Jude with Ryan—wrote: “Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25 x. ” The joyous announcement was met with a flood of congratulatory messages from her Corrie friends, as well as many fans.

Now, taking to Instagram once more, Lucy has shared a collection of images showing tender moments with her baby girl and documenting how her son Sonny is getting used to being a big brother reports the Manchester Evening News.

With these snaps, she revealed: "Our Nancy Margaret Ledson. A dream come true." Corrie's very own Sally Carman-Duttine, known for her role as Abi Webster on the ITV soap, gushed "Just gorgeous,"

Fellow cast member Julia Goulding, better known as Shona Platt, added a simple yet poignant "Heaven." Cait Fitton, who appears as Lauren Bolton on the screen, enthused: "I'm so buzzing for you all! ! She is absolutely gawjus." Sair Khan, who plays Alya Nazir, chimed in with a sweet "Just beautiful."

Samia Longchambon, who portrays Maria Windass, expressed her delight with an array of love heart eyes emojis, echoed by former Corrie favourite Brooke Vincent. Meanwhile, Helen Flanagan, known to many as Brooke's on-screen sister, also joined the chorus of adoration stating: "So beautiful," accompanied by further love heart eyes emojis.

Friends and followers were equally quick to shower their praises. In response, one person exclaimed: "Wow... you're just a SUPERwoman ! ! ! ! What a lil beauty."

Another remarked: "Oh what a beautiful name. Welcome to our crazy world Nancy." Commending the shared image, another fan gushed said: "Oh what a beautiful photo, such a gorgeous name too."

The well-wishes continued, as someone else wrote, "Beautiful Nancy! ! ! So happy for you - what a perfect little family." While another echoed the sentiment: "Beautiful name Beautiful baby."
