In a post pinned on his Instagram, Chris shared his life history, describing himself as someone who had "experienced many different walks of life in his short span of time here on earth".

"I love beauty, and I find nothing more beautiful than the world we live in. Being able to travel and capture sights that take people’s breath away, thus planting the seed of adventure within them is one of the most fulfilling rewards for me," he wrote.

"I have two beautiful pups, Blue and Riley, who accompany me on my adventures ... I also have a background in mental health and substance abuse. I have been outspoken about mental health since I was speaking about it as a YL leader in high school, and have been transparent about my own struggles in the hopes it will help others along their own path. I also got sober in 2018 and have been an advocate for substance abuse awareness ever since, helping men and women who are struggling find the treatment they need."

Tributes have been left for Chris following his sad death, with a friend writing: "Chris, I’ll love you forever. You’ve been a light in my life since we met in 2016. I wish we would’ve moved to CA together in 2021 like we talked about. I wish we kept in touch more than just online every few weeks. I have so many wishes. In the end, I wish you peace. My heart is broken. All the love and thoughts in the world to your family and Blue," whilst a fan penned in a separate message: "I’m so sorry for your loss, my heart aches with your family. I never had the pleasure of knowing Chris, he was an incredible inspirational figure for myself and motivated me to go to the gym.

"I loved watching him share his life online, showing his adventures and his passions and living life to the absolute fullest with a burning smile. I’m heartbroken for you for the loss of such an amazing and influential individual."
