Tasha Ghouri's comments about the 'Strictly curse' have resurfaced following her split from Andrew Le Page just weeks after her stint on the BBC dance show came to an end.

The couple, who met on Love Island in 2022, have gone their separate ways, and the blonde beauty, 26, has since been spotted on the celebrity dating app Raya as she prepares to embark on the Strictly live tour with partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

However, just months beforehand, Tasha had assured fans that her Strictly experience would not affect her relationship with the estate agent as she addressed the infamous 'curse'.

She previously said: "Andrew, to me, is the hottest man on this whole planet. Me and Andrew trust each other 100 per cent. It's not a make-or-break for us. We're going to breeze through this because we're going to marry each other one day, you know?

"It doesn't bother us at all. We didn't have a discussion about 'the Strictly curse' because we trust each other. It doesn't play on our mind."

The dancer revealed how Andrew had reacted when she was announced on the line up for the BBC show and when he learned she would be partnered with Slovenian hunk Aljaž.

The model confidently spoke about how her then boyfriend of two years had "no worries at all" and was "super-happy" about their pairing as he could see what a "great partnership" she has with Aljaž.

Tasha and the professional dancer even went on a double date with their respective partners at the time.

The influencer shared back in September 2024: "Aljaz is so happy with his wife [Janette Manrara] and we went on a double date last night, and had a lovely dinner with their beautiful daughter, Lyra. Andrew's been so supportive through it all."

Tasha and Andrew had previously moved in together and were renovating their dream home as well as sharing their dog Luna before news of their split broke this week.

Andrew supported her at the Strictly live shows where she made it all the way to the final.

The couple's split seems to have come quite abruptly after Tasha posted love hearts on January 1 on a photograph uploaded on Instagram by Andrew with the caption: "2025 lets get it."

Now, just days later, Tasha's new Raya profile describes her as a 'Northern girly' who is 'always smiling and laughing' and features snaps of her in a stunning red dress which she originally posted on Instagram in December when she attended a Christmas party.

A friend close to Tasha told The Daily Mail that the pair had "hit a rocky patch." A different source added: "Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly.

"She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by. Now she's going off on tour she's going to be away from Andrew again.

"They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she's pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman."
