Marina Mall to Host Easter Festivities with Family Activities and Performances

Marina Mall in Ghana will host a series of Easter-themed events from April 17 to 21, featuring family-friendly activities, live performances, and cultural showcases.

The five-day program aims to blend retail promotions with entertainment, offering visitors a range of options during the holiday period.

From Wednesday through Sunday, shoppers making purchases at participating stores can spin a prize wheel to win rewards, ranging from mall vouchers to seasonal gifts. The promotion coincides with extended operating hours across retail outlets, though specific terms apply based on purchase amounts.

Musical elements of the event include an acoustic band performance on Friday afternoon, followed by live DJ sets on Saturday and Sunday to elevate the weekend atmosphere. On Easter Sunday, scheduled activities will culminate with a cultural dance show at 2 PM in the central atrium, featuring traditional Ghanaian drumming and choreography. Complementary body painting stations will also operate near the food court, allowing children to select designs from seasonal motifs to fantasy characters.

Organizers noted that social media engagement has become integral to such events, encouraging attendees to share experiences using the mall’s official handles. This marks the third consecutive year Marina Mall has organized large-scale public programming around major holidays, following December’s holiday market and last October’s children’s arts festival.
