2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards Nominees Announced; Megan Thee Stallion Leads with 12 Nominations

The 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards nominees have been unveiled, featuring a lineup of prominent hip-hop artists.

 

The awards ceremony will take place on October 15 in Las Vegas. It will celebrate the top talents in the genre over the past year.

 

Megan Thee Stallion leads the nominations with an impressive 12 nods, followed closely by Kendrick Lamar with 11 and Drake with 8.

 

Other notable contenders include Cardi B, GloRilla, Metro Boomin, and Nicki Minaj, all of whom received multiple nominations.

 

Fat Joe, who returns as both host and co-executive producer for this year’s event, promises an entertaining night.

 

Notably, no Ghanaian artist received a nomination this year, breaking the trend from previous years.

 

Black Sherif won the “Best International Flow” award in 2023, while Sarkodie and Stonebwoy have also been recognized in past BET Hip-Hop Awards.

 

Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Odumodublvck are nominated for Best Live Performer and Best International Flow, respectively.
