Body Horror and Cyberpunk Collide in Survival Horror RPG ‘GRAFT’ [Trailer’]

by · Bloody Disgusting

Debuting at The Horror Game Awards over the weekend, body horror fans will have something to chew on with Harebrained Scheme’s GRAFT, a “post-cyberpunk survival horror RPG”. The new trailer highlights the chilling narrative and atmosphere that await players as you attempt to escape a rotting space station.

GRAFT revolves around The Ark, a continent-sized station that was once filled with biomechanically enhanced citizens, all working toward some greater purpose lost to time. Now the station is in ruins, its citizens now unrecognizable. And you have no idea how you got here. You are Theseus, and you must escape.

In order to do so, you must tear pieces from your enemies to transform yourself into something new—something capable of surviving the horrors that prowl around you. Every Graft brings with it some piece of its previous owner’s identity, changing more than just your physical body.

However, you are not the only survivor in the desolation. You must form fragile alliances and build them into deeper relationships. Of course, anyone still living is likely both dangerous and treacherous, and that includes you. The choices you make will shape your journey and decide the fates of those you meet.

But with all of your modifications, the question remains: Who, or what, will you be when you escape?

Currently, GRAFT is in development for release on PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
