‘Mi Amor’ Trailer – Pom Klementieff Searches for Her Missing Friend in French Thriller

Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy, Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning) stars as a DJ touring the Canary Islands when her friend vanishes in the trailer for Mi Amor.

Met with evasion from locals and the authorities, Romy’s search leads her to a magnetic stranger and the sinister proprietors of an exotic animal sanctuary. With the help of a club owner with a troubled past, Romy will stop at nothing to find her friend.

The French thriller is directed by Guillaume Nicloux, who co-wrote the script with Nathalie Leuthreau.

Benoît Magimel (The Piano Teacher), Freya Mavor (“Skins”), Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey (Cuckoo), Anaël Snoek (“The Serpent Queen”), and Elina Löwensohn (Schindler’s List) round out the cast.

François Kraus and Denis Pineau-Valencienne produce, with Les Films du Kiosque serving as the production company.

Mi Amore had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam over the weekend with additional screening set for this Friday and Saturday.

The film will hit theaters in France on May 6. Le Pacte is handling international sales, so stay tuned for US release details.
