‘Elden Ring Tarnished Edition’ Announced for Switch 2 [Trailer]

Bandai Namco surprised Nintendo fans during the Nintendo Direct today, announcing an all-in-one version of Elden Ring for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Elden Ring Tarnished Edition includes the base game Elden Ring, as well as the game’s major DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, along with new armor, weapons and customization features for Torrent’s appearance.

Slated for release later this year,  the additional content from Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will be making its way to other platforms. It’ll be interesting to see how From Software was able to cram the game onto the Switch 2, though from the trailer, things look pretty good so far.

Plus, we know that developers were able to crank out some truly impressive stuff on the Switch, such as id Software’s DOOM and DOOM: Eternal looking and playing pretty solidly on the admittedly weaker Switch hardware. So, fingers crossed!
