Singer The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) makes his feature starring debut in the upcoming Lionsgate thriller Hurry Up Tomorrow, and the film now has an official release date.

Hurry Up Tomorrow releases in theaters on May 16, 2025.

Deadline details, “The movie starring the Grammy winning and Oscar and Emmy nominated recording superstar is timed with the debut of his new album and tour.”

Hurry Up Tomorrow is inspired by and featuring new music from The Weeknd,” the outlet further clarifies. “The project also reps the conclusion to The Weeknd’s artistic trilogy, completing the journey that began with After Hours and Dawn FM.”

Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan also star in Hurry Up Tomorrow.

Trey Edward Shults (It Comes at Night) wrote and directed the feature film.
