One of the actors starring in the rumoured Resident Evil 0 Remake has seemingly been unearthed, via a codename listed on his resume. In case you're wondering who it is, he played various characters, possibly including a mine-dwelling cultist, in FarCry 5.

As a refresher, this is the Resident Evil 0 remake Twitterer Dusk Golem claimed to be in development alongside a Code Veronica remake last year. Those claims were corroborated by VGC. Dusk Golem's since asserted that the "broad goal we're roughly looking at" for the two projects are early 2027 for Code Veronica and 2028 for Resi 0.

That brings us to today and the CV of Canadian actorman Jon McLaren. MP1st report that the codename for the Resi 0 remake is 'Chamber' and the version of McLaren's online resume listed on casting profile site Actors Access cites him as having nabbed a lead role in an "upcoming AAA video game" with that same codename.

His work on Project Chamber's also listed as having taken place at Beyond Capture Studios, a casting and capture studio who've previously worked on Capcom's Resident Evil 4 Remake and its Separate Ways add-on. It's hardly the only game they've worked on though, with credits on stuff ranging from Street Fighter 6, to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Civ 7.

So, who is this actorman? Well, he's previously provided the voice of Star Lord in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as the voices of "various" FarCry 5 characters. I decided to do a bit of digging into the latter, and found that his Wikipedia only lists him as having voiced the Ubisoft shooter's Catamount Mines Cultist. An attempt to put the matter to bed by scanning the credits on IMBD has only yielded an error message, so I'm choosing to believe McLaren voiced every single living thing in Montana, including all of the animals.

Outside of that, McLaren earns maximum Canada points for having starred in a TV movie called 'Sweet as Maple Syrup' and lists "SAXOPHONE, DRIVERS LICENSE" among his special skills. Whether the latter means he has a special drivers' license which allows him to play the riff from Baker Street while motoring along at 70 miles an hour remains a mystery.
