Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is just two days away from release and is already receiving promising early reviews. Several celebrities and political leaders took to social media to share their thoughts after attending a special screening of the film.

Prominent political figures praise Kesari 2

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri shared his experience, posting, “Lakshmi and I were privileged to join the brilliant actors @akshaykumar Ji and @ActorMadhavan Ji for a special premiere of this cinematic gem, along with Delhi CM Smt @Gupta_Rekha Ji, ministers Sdr @mssirsa Ji, Sh @KapilMishra_IND Ji, Sh @ashishsood_bjp Ji, New Delhi MP Smt @BansuriSwaraj Ji, Moti Nagar MLA Sh @HarishKhuranna Ji, Kalkaji Councillor Smt @yogitasinghbjp Ji, senior leader Sh @ianuragthakur Ji, and several other party leaders, diplomats, former colleagues, and friends.”

Responding to the message, Akshay Kumar expressed his gratitude, saying, “Deeply honoured that you watched our film and hosted a special screening, @HardeepSPuri sir. My entire team and I hope and pray that the nation comes to know about the valiant effort of C. Sankaran Nair. Rab Rakha.”

Micromax founder Rahul Sharma, husband of actress Asin, also praised the film on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “We’ve all read about Jallianwala Bagh in history books, but nothing prepares you for the truth I witnessed today at the special screening of #Kesari2. I’m short of words for how deeply moved I am. This is content worthy of a National Award. Brilliant performances by @akshaykumar and @ActorMadhavan. Don’t miss it.”

Akshay Kumar replied warmly, “Thank you Rahul. This one was straight from the heart, and I’m so glad it connected with you. Jallianwala Bagh’s story deserved to be told this way.”

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta also shared her experience in Hindi, posting pictures with Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan on X. She wrote, “The film Kesari Chapter 2 presents the spirit of patriotism, courage, and sacrifice in a very impactful and emotional manner. Every scene is filled with pride and inspiration. Meanwhile, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa praised the movie during a conversation with ANI, stating, “Before the youth, I want to ask everyone in Congress to come and watch this movie. They will understand the crime they committed by erasing the history of C. Sankaran Nair....”
