‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 Preview: Showtime Releases New Trailer

Debuting on November 14, 2021, Yellowjackets follows a group of high school girl soccer players involved in a 1996 plane crash in the remote wilderness, and the consequences of the event in their adult lives in the year 2021.
In the upcoming third season, which debuts on Friday, February 14 on Paramount+ with Showtime (and Sunday, February 16 on Showtime), the Yellowjackets face a fragile victory. Per the logline, “the brutal winter that nearly claimed them is finally behind them, but distrust in leadership and tension within the team jeopardize their chances of being rescued. In the present, long-buried secrets from their pasts begin to surface. As the women fight to keep their lives from unraveling, they must confront a chilling question: who are they really, and what dark truths are they hiding from each other and themselves?”
Yellowjackets stars Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Live Hewson, and Courtney Eaton as the group of teenagers. The adult version of the characters are played by Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Lauren Ambrose.
Accolades for Yellowjackets include seven Emmy Award nominations (including Outstanding Drama Series and acting nominations for Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci.
