Here’s The First, Incredible ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Trailer, At Long Last
by Paul Tassi · ForbesWhile there may be a certain amount of MCU fatigue in the present market, the one exception that I think all fans are going to make is for the return of Matt Murdoch in Daredevil: Born Again. After a pair of leaked, terribly-filmed trailers, we now have an official one from Disney that has been released less than two months ahead of its release on March 4, 2025.
Here’s the spot below which I think was one of the leaked ones, but regardless, it’s the only one you need to be watching. And it is incredible.
It’s a full gallery of characters on display, from a retired (temporarily) Matt Murdoch to a now-mayor, still-violent Kingpin. We also see the return of Foggy and Karen, who were originally cut, and maybe even killed offscreen, when the first draft of this show was written, and eventually thrown out. Thank god.
Another returning vet is Frank Castle, The Punisher, looking more insane than usual. There are rumors he may end up with his own show at some point here. Well, the resurrection of his old show, in any case. And speaking of, we very much see that Disney is allowing full MA-rated content on display here, staying true to the original Netflix series. Also, if Castle is being shown here in the first trailer, I have to wonder what other cameos may be hidden, be they from the MCU, or returning Netflix vets like Luke Cage or Jessica Jones. Oh, and even Bullseye is back, we see briefly.

We also see two new characters including White Tiger, Hector Ayala. But more pressingly we see the new villain of the season, besides Kingpin that is, Muse, a psychopath murderer who looks terrifying in the brief time we see him in the trailer.
Of course, we know Matt is not staying retired, and we do in fact see him back in the Daredevil costume, slinging around his cord-attached clubs in what will no doubt be another series of epic fight scenes, the ones the series has been known for.
Truly, I don’t think there is any current Marvel project with more hype than this. Matt Murdoch has been teased to return in three different projects now, Spider-Man No Way Home, She-Hulk and Echo, and finally, finally, he’s back. And with a show that actually looks good instead of whatever nightmare they originally wrote and threw away. See him back in action on March 4.
