‘Reacher’ Season Three Trailer Released By Prime Video
by Marc Berman · ForbesPrime Video has launched the official trailer for the upcoming third season of action crime drama Reacher. The eight-episode season will roll out weekly, with the first three episodes debuting on Thursday, February 20, and subsequent episodes dropping every Thursday through March 27 on Prime Video.
Based on the Jack Reacher book series by Lee Child and starring Alan Ritchson as the title character, Reacher has already been renewed for a fourth season.
The logline for season three (which is based on the seventh book in series titled “Persuader”): Reacher hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out. There he finds a world of secrecy and violence - and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.
Maria Sten will return for third third season alongside Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart and Olivier Richters.
Reacher is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. The series is written for television by Nick Santora (Prison Break), who also executive produces and serves as showrunner. In addition to Santora and Child, Ritchson will serve as an executive producer, along with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid are the executives-in-charge of the series for Skydance Television.
