TRON: ARES Trailer Tease Released Ahead of Full Trailer Coming Tomorrow!

Disney has released a very brief trailer tease for Tron: Ares promoting a full trailer set to drop online tomorrow. This comes after the story shared a wild 5-minute sneak peek at the film for CinemaCon attendees in Las Vegas yesterday afternoon.

This little tease you’re about to watch features a Light Cycle racing on the streets of the real world, which is a pretty awesome visual! You can watch our reaction to the CinemaCon footage here.

The film follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, “who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.”

The film comes from director Joachim Rønning, and it stars Jared Leto, Cameron Monaghan (Star Wars Jedi), Evan Peters (WandaVision), Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith (Without Remorse), Greta Lee, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Gillian Anderson.

Jeff Bridges is also returning to the world of Tron, which is awesome! It’ll be interesting to see how his character will factor into the story.

Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne wrote the script. The film arrives in theaters on October 10, 2025.
