Red-Band Trailer for EVIL DEAD BURN Teases a Savage New Chapter of Demonic Chaos

Horror fans, get ready, because the Evil Dead franchise is back to do what it does best… make you squirm, laugh nervously, and push you to your limit as the horror keeps coming without mercy.

Evil Dead Burn just dropped its red-band trailer, and it’s exactly the kind of savage, over-the-top nightmare fuel you’d expect from this series.

Set to hit theaters on July 10 from Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is directed by Sébastien Vaniček and looks ready to keep the franchise’s streak alive.

The trailer kicks things off in a deceptively normal way. A mother is home when there’s a knock at the door. What follows isn’t a friendly visit. Instead, she’s greeted by a horrifying undead figure, missing fingers and sporting a car headrest jammed through her skull.

It only gets worse from there. The footage reveals the gruesome car accident that led to that injury, along with flashes of Deadites doing what Deadites do best, including drinking melted candle wax and turning a dishwasher full of knives into something far more terrifying than any kitchen appliance should ever be.

If you’ve followed this franchise, you know it rarely misses. It all started with Sam Raimi’s original trilogy starring Bruce Campbell, which turned a scrappy indie horror into a defining genre classic.

Then came Fede Álvarez’s 2013 reboot, which delivered a darker, nastier take that still holds up. The TV series Ash vs Evil Dead kept the spirit alive with a wild, gore-filled run, and Evil Dead Rise, directed by Lee Cronin, proved the franchise could evolve while staying true to its roots.

Now Evil Dead Burn looks to carry that momentum forward, and based on this trailer, it’s not holding anything back.

The official synopsis lays out the premise, and it sounds like a perfect setup for chaos: “Evil Dead Burn unleashes the franchise’s most savage and terrifying ride to date, blazing onto big screens with an all-new chapter of carnage and demonic mayhem.

“After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites—turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell—she comes to discover that the vows she took in life… live on even in death.”

It’s clear this movie is aiming for maximum intensity. The cast brings together a solid mix of talent, including Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two, Climax, The Carpenter’s Son), Tandi Wright (Pearl), Hunter Doohan (Daredevil: Born Again, Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), along with Errol Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink.

And if you’re already thinking ahead, the franchise isn’t slowing down. Another installment, Evil Dead Wrath, is on the way with Francis Galluppi attached to direct, targeting a 2028 release.

For now, though, Evil Dead Burn looks like it’s bringing the kind of gruesome creativity and relentless energy fans crave. If the trailer is any indication, July is going to be a bloody mess.
