Uma Thurman Joins the Cast of Showtime Sequel Series DEXTER: RESURRECTION

Golden Globe-winning and Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill) has joined Showtime’s sequel series, Dexter: Resurrection. She has been cast as a series regular opposite returning star Michael C. Hall in the in the show.

Production on Dexter: Resurrection, a present-day follow-up to Dexter: New Blood, started in New York this month on the heels of the strong launch of prequel series Dexter: Original Sin.

In the series, “Thurman will play Charley, the Head of Security for mysterious billionaire Leon Prater. A former Special Ops officer, Charley worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as the resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman for Prater.”

In addition to Hall, back in the titular role of Dexter Morgan, Thurman joins fellow series regulars David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott who are reprising their Dexter franchise roles as Detective Angel Batista, Dexter’s father Harry Morgan and Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, respectively.
