MOBLAND Season 2 Trailer Sends the Harrigans to War: "Let Chaos Reign"

The Harrigans are back in business, and judging by the first trailer forMobLandSeason 2, business is getting extremely bloody.

Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the next chapter of its hit crime drama, and the Harrigan family has more than rival gangsters to worry about this time around.

The new footage is loaded with gunfire, brutal fights, family infighting, missing drugs, and enough criminal complications to keep Harry Da Souza working overtime. With the series returning this fall, it looks like Season 2 plans to crank up the pressure on everyone involved.

Tom Hardy is returning as Harry Da Souza, the highly capable fixer tasked with cleaning up the Harrigan family's increasingly dangerous messes.

Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are also back as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, the formidable couple at the center of the family's criminal empire. Of course, maintaining that empire is becoming considerably more difficult.

The MobLand Season 2 trailer shows the Harrigans are being hit from multiple directions. Members of the family are shown trying to figure out who is coming after them and how they should respond, while those conversations are broken up by gun battles, physical confrontations, and violent attacks.

Basically, diplomacy doesn't appear to be working particularly well. There are also missing drugs to deal with, because apparently the Harrigans didn't already have enough problems.

With their criminal operation under increasing pressure, disappearing inventory creates another potential disaster and raises some obvious questions about who can actually be trusted.

That's an especially dangerous problem for a family whose survival depends on loyalty. When you've got enemies circling outside and possible trouble developing within your own organization, even Harry's particular set of talents can only keep the plates spinning for so long.

Hardy, Brosnan, and Mirren aren't the only familiar faces returning. Paddy Considine is back as Kevin Harrigan, along with Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza, Lara Pulver as Isabella "Bella" Harrigan, Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan, Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina Harrigan, Jasmine Jobson as Zosia, Teddie Allen as Gina Da Souza, Emmett J. Scanlan as Paul O'Donnell, Janet McTeer as Kat McAllister, and Toby Jones as Colin Tattersall.

That's a lot of dangerous personalities to throw back into the same criminal playground, particularly after everything that happened during the first season.

Created by Ronan Bennett, MobLand follows the Harrigans, a powerful London crime family fighting to protect its empire from rival organization the Stevenson gang.

The story isn't expected to end with the upcoming season either. A third season of MobLand is currently in development, after some behind the scenes drama with Hardy, so the Harrigans' increasingly complicated criminal operation could be causing trouble for quite a while.

Season 1 established a nasty criminal world where family loyalty, ambition, business, and violence are constantly tangled together, and Season 2 appears ready to make that situation even more combustible.

The Harrigans have threats closing in, drugs have vanished, trust is becoming increasingly difficult to come by, and Harry is once again stuck trying to keep everything from collapsing.
