THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Trailer Reaction - Silver Surfer Looks Freakin' Cool! - CinemaCon 2025

Disney unleased a brand new trailer for Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps at CinemaCon, and we got our first look at Julia Garner’s Silver Surfer in action, and I absolutely loved her character design! She’s gonna be a badass character in the movie!

It was also confirmed in the footage that Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm is pregnant! So that storyline is 100% in play in this movie! Anyway, we talk all about those details and more in this footage reaction video!

In the film: “Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet.

“Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”

Additional roles are being played by Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne.

The movie is being directed by Matt Shakman from a screenplay by Josh Friedman, who was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.

The Fantastic 4: First Steps is scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
