TV icon joining Celebrity Gogglebox cast tonight with rarely-seen family members

Celebrity Gogglebox is set to welcome a fresh celebrity addition on their couch for this evening's show, as This Morning's beloved Alison Hammond joins the 2025 line-up.

For Alison, it will be her debut appearance on Channel 4's fan-favourite series which showcases celebrities reacting to the week's most talked-about television scenes.

Channel 4 has confirmed that Alison is slated for tonight's episode, where she'll be cheered on by her sister Saundra and son Aidan, who previously accompanied her on BBC Two's Florida Unpacked.

Alison expressed her excitement with: "I'm so excited to be doing Celebrity Gogglebox with my son Aidan. We've always loved watching telly together, and now we get to do it on the sofa for the nation!".

She added a hint of familial pride with: "It's a real family affair too, because my fabulous sister Saundra is getting involved as well. Expect laughs, eye-rolls, and lots of commentary, classic Hammond style!".

Speculation about Alison's involvement in Celebrity Gogglebox surfaced in May, with reports suggesting that the This Morning personality and her son were set to be part of the show.

The ongoing series of Celebrity Gogglebox has featured household names like Paddy McGuinness, Vernon Kay, Clare Balding, Rylan Clark, Nick Grimshaw, among others, sharing their takes on the week's television highlights, reports the Mirror.

Notably, when the series kicked off last month, some viewers expressed disappointment, lamenting that the interactions seemed too "forced" for certain celebrities.

Vicky Pattison has joined this year's Celebrity Gogglebox lineup with her good mate Pete Wicks. The ex-Geordie Shore personality recently discussed the experience of filming during the scorching temperatures.

On Angela Scanlon's podcast, Vicky revealed: "We're done. It's in the bag. Last one is this week so make sure you tune in. I can't promise any feminist rants. I was sweating me t**s off."

She elaborated on the challenges posed by the heat, saying: "It was 40 degrees in my front room trying to do that the other day, and obviously, with the heatwave we've been having this week, it's been f*****g savage. Yeah, literally swamp gusset galore."

This season also welcomed Rag'n'Bone Man to Celebrity Gogglebox, as he made his debut in reality TV.
